PE (Polyethylene) is one of the most widely used plastic materials in the world, and it is mainly divided into HDPE (High-Density Polyethylene) and LDPE (Low-Density Polyethylene) according to different densities.
In the field of cosmetics packaging, PE is widely used in shampoo bottles, shower gel bottles, lotion squeeze bottles and flexible packaging containers due to its excellent flexibility, impact resistance and good chemical stability.
HDPE has high rigidity and impact resistance, making it suitable for manufacturing bottles with stable structures, such as bottles for personal care products and packaging for cleaning products.
LDPE, on the other hand, has better flexibility and extrusion rebound performance, and is often used in packaging forms that require good user operation experience, such as hoses and squeeze bottles.
PE material has good moisture resistance, good compatibility with most cosmetic formulations, and excellent processability. It can be produced quickly through processes such as Extrusion Blow Molding (EBM) and extrusion.
With the improvement of environmental protection requirements, PCR PE (Post-Consumer Recycled Polyethylene) has gradually become an important choice for sustainable packaging.
